Recession Pagne

I like Champagne when I'm celebrating, I like champagne when I'm eating sushi or stone crabs and really like champagne when the kids go to bed... That said, I'm normally not a huge sparkling/prosecco/cava fan. I like the real deal. Give me Blue Top, Feuillatte, Piper Heidsieck etc. and I am happy. However, I popped open a bottle of Piper Sonoma Brut and was pleasantly surprised. This goes for approximately $14.00 and is a sparkling bargain. It's the closest sparkling to champagne I've tried.
