Kentucky Derby Party @ Bourbon Steak 5/5/12

The Kentucky Derby is one of the most exciting sporting events of the year.  The 138th "Run for the Roses" is next Saturday, May 5 with post time set for 6:24 p.m.  Bourbon Steak will be opening the bar and lounge area early again this year. From 5 to 7 p.m. enjoy complimentary canapés and reduced-priced cocktails.

                                                
Additionally, on Friday, May 4 at 6 p.m., they are hosting  a special horse betting workshop with Ron Nicoletti, who is the track handicapper and TV host for Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino.

It's also a good opportunity to try Chef Fenton's National Burger Month special. During May he is featuring a BBQ “BLT” burger topped with Neuske’s bacon, Farmhouse cheddar cheese, local heirloom tomatoes and Chef Mina’s BBQ sauce. When ordered, guests also receive a refreshing glass of peach, juniper and white pepper sangria all for $18.
