Super Bowl

Is it just me or does the super bowl lack any hype? No buzz for this one. Nevertheless, I am expecting a very good game. I still don't think Arizona is getting enough respect. They really stepped it up on defense in the post season and as I've continued to advise, Warner to Fitzgerald is a nasty combo. (I know, I know, stating the obvious at this point) On the other hand, the Steelers come in playing very good football. Polamalu is all over the field and the defense is solid but I'm not overly impressed with their offense.
I think Zona's defense steps up again, Warner conencts with Fitzgerald early and Zona pulls off another upset.
Zona 24-17

Mobil's Rankings Miami/Broward

No hotels or restaurants in Miami-Dade and Broward counties made the five-star cut.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental in Miami was one of eight spas in the United States to earn five stars.

Hotels repeating on the four-star list were: the St. Regis in Fort Lauderdale; the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort and Club in Aventura; the Trump Sonesta in Sunny Isles Beach; the Ritz-Carltons in Miami Beach, Coconut Grove and Key Biscayne; the Four Seasons and Mandarin Oriental in Miami; and the Loews and the Setai in Miami Beach.

Restaurants Blue Door and Wish in South Beach, Azul in Miami and La Palme D'Or in Coral Gables held onto their four stars.

These hotels also received four stars for their spas: the Ritz-Carltons in Fort Lauderdale, Key Biscayne and South Beach, the Setai and the Little Palm Island resort on Torch Key. New to the spa four-star list were the spas at Regent Bal Harbour, Bal Harbour and Fairmont Turnberry.

Conference Championship

Two more good matchups on tap for this Sunday. Philly is playing great ball but Zona gets a surprising home game and I think they pull this out and head to Tampa. Warner/Fitzgerald at home is lethal. Zona 24-20

Pittsburgh is the team to beat and Baltimore does not have the offensive fire power to get the job done. Willi Parker is healthy and quick enough to be problematic for Baltimore. Pittsburgh 20-13

Division Round

Should be a great weekend of games this week.

Baltimore's offense and Flacco specifically weren't tested by Miami last Sunday. That W was all about the defense and they will keep them in the game this week but Tennessee's defense is too strong and I expect them to win this one 17-10.

No one expects Arizona to win at Carolina and I would be surprised too. However, Warner to Fitzgerald is always a threat and I think Zona keeps this closer than most suspect. Carolina wins 24-20

Philly @ Giants- can't wait for this one. Philly is hot and good but the Giants are rested, home, deeper and better. Giants move on 17-14

I was all set to call the upset with San Diego knocking out Pitt but LT's injured and his status is doubtful. Not sure they can win with Sproles carrying the load. Pitt 20-14

Wild-Card Weekend

The regular season is over and so are the survivor pools. Hope some of you out there won your respective pools. I'm not aware of any playoff contests but I figured I'd share my wild card picks with you.

I like Arizona at home over Atlanta. Zona has played well at home all year and we like Warner over Ryan.

The Chargers have turned it around and LT looked like the LT of old last week BUT we are not picking against Peyton. They haven't been crushing teams this year but they win and that's all that matters. Colts move on.

The Baltimore/Miami game should be a close one but I think Pennington pulls this one out. Miami wins.

Everyone is on the Philly bandwagon which really scares me. I would not be surprised to see Minny win this one. That said, I'm riding the wagon. Philly.
