“We
are excited to throw a feast on Miami Beach where Asian-meets-Latino
bites and globally spirited cocktails from over 30 of Miami’s finest
chefs and mixologists will spill out onto the beachfront oasis,” said
LUCKYRICE Founder Danielle Chang. “The combination of Iron Chef Morimoto
co-hosting with Miami favorite Michael Schwartz is sure to be a crowd
favorite.”
To
add to the festivities, guests will be invited to dress in
“firecracker” or “chili pepper” red to reflect the spicy flavors
prominent in Latino and Asian cuisines.
“Our
festival’s expansion taps into America’s continued and heightened
interest in Asian cuisine. Coupled with increasing travel and trade, the
influence of Asia has resulted in a growing consumer awareness of the
multitude of cultures and flavors of the region. By highlighting flavors
from Taiwan to Thailand, the LUCKYRICE Miami Feast will allow guests to
“eat their way around Asia without leaving the beach”.
The
LUCKYRICE Miami Feast will combine the best of LUCKYRICE, including
authentic night market street food, creative chef-driven dining and cocktails galore – all re-imagined through a locally global lens that spotlights the exploding Asian food revolution.
“We
are thrilled to have BOMBAY SAPPHIRE East Gin return for a second year
in a row as the official spirit of the LUCKYRICE Festival in Miami”,
said Ned Duggan, Brand Director, BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Gin. “Paying homage to
the subtle, yet exotic flavors of Asia infused with Thai Lemongrass and
Vietnamese Black Peppercorns, BOMBAY SAPPHIRE East pairs perfectly with
each imaginative Asian dish throughout the LUCKYRICE Festival.”
Confirmed
participants include Restaurant Michael Schwartz, Khong River House,
Juvia, The Setai Grill and Phuc Yea (a new Vietnamese concept from the
Federal).
LUCKYRICE will also bring 8 celebrated mixologists who will serve a total of 16 custom cocktails featuring BOMBAY SAPPHIRE East
and other spirits. We will also be serving Asahi Beer, Wines from
