With Burger month right around the corner it is perfect timing to unveil my first Tiers of a Burger for 2011.  These are the best of the best in South Florida according to ME and broken down into Tiers. (Listed alphabetically within each tier)

Sakaya Kitchen- Angus beef bulgogi sliders with spicy goat cheese, pickles, roasted pork & kimchi.

I've tried it and didn't love. It's been a while and will give it another shot.

These lists are lacking: nobody has made it up to Roxy's in West Palm Beach to sample the legendary Roxyburger.

The Chowfather said...

CLJ, not up that way often but will certainly check Roxy out next time I'm in WPB.

Yeah, these things are subjective. For instance, Char-Hut for me is one nano step above McDonald's.

Quikies not on that list. Thinking MOAB!

Rick, Char-Hut has dropped for me thanks to the influx of new burger spots over the past few years. I still think it is the best fast food burger and deserving of its ranking.

Anon, had Quickies a couple of times and it was okay but not tier worthy.

Great list but what's up with Jack's. I don't know what people see in it but at this point I've just learned to agree to disagree. One place that gets overlooked but has a seriously good burger, albeit a slider, is Morton's. They're only served at the bar but they're outrageous, dressed only with cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion on a bun that's made to hold the juiciness.

Flannigans Big Daddy Burger, at least at the grove location, is consistently outstanding and noteworthy because of it's $5 price at lunch.

L2M, I'll have to check out the Morton's sliders. I like their happy hour mini steak sandwiches served at the bar.

Jack's tends to be on the under seasoned side but still enjoyable for me.

Tried Boardwalk Burgers in Boca...wasnt that great, Fries were soggy, burger not much flavor and kind of dry...Charm City much better, and so is Quickies down in Hollywood...

you should try the j.marks burger (pompano and fort lauderdale locations). they have a burgers with and without bacon mixed into the meat. both are outstanding and worthy to be on your list.

DaDa's in Delray has an excellent burger. I also still enjoy a good Fudruckers burger every now and again!

Go back to Flanigan's and try their new Texas Burger. This one brings it strong: blue cheese, bacon, tumbleweed onions and wing sauce. Through some of their bbq sauce on there too for some extra love.
