Happy Birthday Swine Southern 3/24/14

Wow! Two of my favorite things, Burgers and Old Fashioneds. Both are great at Swine Southern and are being offered at huge discounts on March 24th in order to celebrate their first birthday. Stop by and enjoy $2.00 Pappy Van Winkle Old Fashioneds and $5.00 Swine Burgers ALL DAY!!!!

The Jay Valor Band will be performing blues and rock-n-roll tunes starting at 7pm.

The Swine Burger. Short rib, brisket and smoked pork blend with homemade dill pickle, thick cut house smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, American cheese and special sauce.

Sake Dinner @ Yakko-San 4/3/14

Spring Surprise at one of my favorite spots, Yakko-San on April 3, 2014.  Hiro is preparing a six course tasting menu and Keith Norum from Masumi Sake will be in house pouring and discussing Masumi Sake.

This one sounds like a winner.  See you there.

Chowfather Burger Madness Champion

It's that time of year again food fans, March Madness! This year I decided to change things up a little and start the season with the first Burger Madness tournament. The Burger Committee has been busy all weekend ranking and seeding the best 32 burgers in South Florida. As usual, I have removed the seedings from the brackets in order to avoid bias/influence from the committee. My followers here and on Twitter and Instagram will vote on their favorites.

These are all great burgers but only one will be deemed The Chowfather Burger Madness Champion.

Have fun burger fans.
